Voting Opens For Top 100 DJs Poll 2014

2013’s edition saw a new winner in the form of Dutch powerhouse, Hardwell; the Dutch DJ/producer replaced five-times No.1 Armin Van Buuren. At 25 years old, Hardwell became the Poll’s youngest ever winner. Last year’s Poll received votes from well over 750,000 people and from more than 200 countries, reinforcing its position as the biggest music poll in the world.

This weekend’s poll launch will be celebrated with a party on Saturday night at Amsterdam’s Paradiso, featuring a mystery guest DJ, alongside 2013’s highest climber, Andrew Rayel. Dannic, Dubvision and 2013’s highest new entry, Dyro.

The Top 100 DJs Poll Awards will be held during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) on Saturday 18 October and will take place at the Amsterdam Music Festival. The presentation partner for the awards is KLM – ‘carrier of the world’s best DJs’. The level and scale of the Top 100 DJs Poll in 2014 is neatly conveyed by the choice of venue for this year’s event – The Amsterdam ArenA. The stadium for Ajax football club will welcome thousands of fans to ADE’s biggest dance event.

We can now announce that the venue for the London Top 100 DJs Poll event, also held on Saturday 18th October, will be London’s iconic O2 Academy Brixton. The first DJs announced for London are Showtek. DJ mag will be teaming up with Lock N Load Events for what will be the biggest ever Top 100 DJs Poll party in the UK. Fans can register for priority access to tickets and information at www.top100djslondon.com

The Top 100 DJs Poll is a publicly voted poll that inspires fierce debate across the year with speculation on the world’s No.1 DJ, new entries and biggest climbers dominating online discussion and beyond. Voting this year will run from 12 July until 15 September.
