wAFF’s North America Tour Debut

Britain’s wAFF makes his official North America tour debut this November, hitting Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Miami, New York, Chicago and Denver. The fast-rising London-based producer has been making waves on the international circuit in 2015, playing across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the U.S., with routine appearances as a resident DJ at Jamie Jones’ Paradise parties, as well as releasing music on the world’s most influential labels including Hot Creations, Matthias Tanzmann’s Moon Harbour, Sven Väth’s Cocoon, and most recently Adam Beyer’s Drumcode.

Operating within the techno and house sphere, wAFF keeps it tough yet emotive, captivating the dancefloor with rugged beats, deep heartfelt melodies, and absorbing narratives on each track. On his ‘VibrationZ’ EP released on Drumcode, wAFF lays down hard hitting kicks from the start, as “Holographic” churns out an undulating synth combined with shuffling hats and a cavernous low-end before “VibrationZ” employs a low-slung groove fashioned from a sultry bassline, floating chords and sinister vocal. Tying it together, “Syncronistic” is on a more heads down tip with whirring atmospherics, crunchy snares and subtle 303 squelches for a lengthy and mesmerising piece of production. Listen to ‘VibrationZ’ on Soundcloud here:

Exuding energy from deep within, wAFF promotes positive vibes and connectivity through his music, proving time and again his ability to transmit powerful frequencies that transfix audiences around the globe. It’s no wonder his music has also been getting the nods from Cajmere, Loco Dice, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola and dozens more, and has upcoming collaborations in the works with Masters At Work, Eats Everything, Patrick Topping and a release due out on Desolat. For those who want the human throb of house tethered to the punchy, driving power of techno, wAFF is now the name.
