Wanderlust 108 announces names for 2019 London event
Wanderlust, producers of the largest yoga lifestyle events in the world, returns to London on 27 July 2019 when Battersea Park in South West London and will play host to the Wanderlust community and over 4,000 mindful seekers.
Wanderlust’s signature triathlon, comprises a 5k run (or walk), a DJ-powered 90-minute outdoor yoga class, and a 30-minute guided meditation. Attendees will also enjoy live music and DJs, artisanal vendors, local foods and The Uncommons venue, which plays host to a wide choice of free activities including acro-yoga, aerial yoga, guided meditation, hula-hooping and more to be announced.
Twice The Health new Wanderlust Ambassadors and will lead the 5K Run (or Walk) and Warm-Up on the day, Hannah Tyldesley and Emily Kier set themselves huge physical challenges each year, with the mission of inspiring people to find their own challenge,whatever that may be. 2016 saw them running 50K around the Grand Canyon, 2017; 50K along The Great Wall of China and will be hosting Wanderlust Run Clubs in the lead up to the festival; full schedule to be announced.
Katarina Rayburn who has quickly become one of London’s favourite teachers and has featured in the Evening Standard as one of London’s Top 10 Yoga Teachers,will be one of the Main Stage Yoga teachers joined by demonstrator Ida May. Keynote speaker and world renowned meditation expert Light Watkinswill lead the guided Meditation, also the author of Bliss More: How to Succeed in Meditation Without Really Trying and founder of global pop-up inspirational variety show – The Shine. AcroYogaDance long-term Wanderlust Ambassadors return to perform an aerial yoga sequence on the Main Stage and presenter and host Will Sebastian will be the EMCEE for the day.
This must-visit festival brings together a huge number of activities in The Uncommons with experiences, including cooking demonstrations, licensed bar and immersion zones, and the famous Wanderlust Speakeasy – an intimate and casual lecture series, which offers the opportunity for festival goers to immerse themselves in the inspiring ideas of thought-leaders, plus the popular Tea Garden – an idyllic flower garden providing an escape, whilst offering a series of open-air talks from inspirational mindful leaders around sustainability and ethics.
New to The Uncommons this year will be Wanderlust Immersions that will take a closelook at the subjects that matter most, from yoga and meditation to fitness and nutrition to personal development and beyond, led by some of the UK’s top Wanderlust Ambassadors including Naomi Absalom, Jonelle Lewis, Emily Clare-Hill and Mona Lisa Godfrey.
Other Uncommons favourties include The Sanctuary with breathwork classes led by Richie Bostock “The Breath Guy”, The Haven bodywork classes, acro-yoga classes led by AcroYogaDance, meditation and yoga for men with Michael James Wong and his Just Breath crew, sound healing led by Harriet Emily and other free bookable activities including aerial yoga, slacklining, hula-hooping, indo boards, yoga boards, yoga wheels and essential oils. Further teachers, influencers, guest speakers and talent to be announced.
Due to popular demand Secret Sunrise will host its largest event ever in the world at Wanderlust 2018 London with over 1,000 people mindfully dancing as the sun rises led by Secret Sunrise UK instructor Margot De Broglie and Movement Master David Kam.
Find Your True Fork will appeal to foodies who want to do more than eat at Wanderlust; festival goers can sign up for classes and presentations about healthy, sustainable ways to prepare delicious food and will be introduced to new cooking techniques and products. Kimberly Parsons The Yoga Chef, author of ‘The Yoga Kitchen’, speaker, lecturer, professionally qualified naturopath, chef and entrepreneur is among speakers and will be talking about yogic philosophy combined with food and holistic health as a way to connect to our chakras, mind and body through food.
Wanderlust 108 regulars include the Kula Marketplace, which will showcase local craft vendors including clothing, jewellery, apocatheray, handcrafted items and a hugely diverse offering in new wellness products. Plus local and organic food vendors including the return of The True North Café and the legendary Wanderbowl Picnic Lunch.

Wanderlust has joined (RED) in the fight to end AIDS. For every Wanderlust 108 ticket sold, £1.08 will be donated to The Global Fund to fight AIDS with (RED), which could provide 3+ days of live-saving HIV medication.
