DISKORD wrapped up a huge 2017 with their Ceasefire EP, 5 killer tracks led by their biggest solo hit to date, “Want U.” It’s become so big that it was time to match it with its own remix package. The package is filled by a whopping 7 different flavours served up by the likes of Circus heavyweight FransisDerelle and KTRL, future bass visionaries Duke & Jones and France’s very own Orkid. Wrapping up the package are a wave of new talent by the way of Effin, Khaos, and Sobek, all coming to light via the recent “Want U” remix competition.
After the success of his This Is Not Club Music EP on Circus at the end of last year, DISKORD reached out to Orkid to bring his signature future bass production style to their original work, the result is a thing of beauty. UK-based duo Duke & Jones have been drafted in to deliver their own wonky trap-twinged twist, this one is the epitome of originality and there’s no doubt that 2018 is going to be a huge year for this incredibly exciting twosome. DISKORD are huge fans of Fransis Derelle and wanted a piece of that action within their remix package, and fire is what Fransis delivered, pure and simple. This is on the heavy side of the Derelle spectrum and the perfect follow up to his recent Pixel Paradise extended player on Circus.
