Warriors and Do Not Sleep Join Forces For OFF Week, Barcelona

Two of Ibiza’s biggest parties come together in Barcelona on the 14th June 2018 to host Warriors Do Not Sleep. Steve Lawler (Warriors) and Darius Syrossian (Do Not Sleep) join forces to bring their respective parties under one roof in Barcelona’s, La Terrrazza club, as part of this year’s OFF week, Barcelona.

Warriors, began life at Sankey’s Ibiza in 2012 and is the extension of Lawler’s Viva imprint. Likewise, Do Not Sleep shares similar white isle roots, having launched at Booom Ibiza in 2014, followed by residencies at Privilege, Space and Sankeys. They have recently announced their new spiritual home for the upcoming season will be Ibiza’s Amnesia.

Flying the flag for quality music, both parties share the same vision of bringing no-nonsense, non-conformist house and techno to their crowds.

Having both held their own, taking Ibiza by storm, Warriors Do Not Sleep is set to replicate their impact in Barcelona as they play in La Terrrazza for the first time. Lawler and Syrossian head up the line-up, playing together as they represent the coming together of their event brands. However, the excitement does not stop there as Anja Schneider, Nick Curly, Hector Couto and Emanuel Satie also join the line up; all of which promise to bring equally stellar performances.

In addition to the line-up, the venue, La Terrrazza, also provides means for excitement. An open-air club set upon the mountain of Montjuic in Barcelona that prides itself on atmospheric décor, it is the only venue of its kind in Barcelona.

Steve Lawler (Viva/Warriors)

Warriors founder and Viva Music owner, Steve Lawler, is 90’s dance music heavyweight, who’s career and successes are wide-ranging. Beginning his career organising illegal raves under the M42 in the 90’s, he rose through the ranks to hold residencies at some of London and Ibiza’s most notable venues, such as The End, London and Ibiza’s Balearic club, Space, at which he earned the name ‘The King of Space’.

Darius Syrossian (Do Not Sleep)

Do Not Sleep’s, Darius Syrossian followed hot on the heels of Lawler, taking the Do Not Sleep party to Space, Ibiza. Playing all major clubs and festivals worldwide, his individual style and love of music has seen him pick up the DJ Mag Best of British award and help establish the brands own music imprint; Do Not Sleep.

Anja Schneider (Mobilee/Sous Music)

Harking from Germany, Anja Schneider is a woman of boundless possibilities; a DJ, producer, two-time label boss, radio broadcaster and mentor. She is regarded as one of the hardest working in the industry today. With a keen ear for uncovering what’s next, Schneider’s spirit is reflected in her style as a DJ; forward-thinking and boundary slaying.

Nick Curly (Cecille Records/8bit/Knee Deep In Sound/Truesoul/Drumcode)

With a decade of experience under his belt, Nick Curly, has been heavily instrumental in defining the sound of underground. Having established numerous labels and recently his own party, Trust; a bi-annual residency at Berlin’s notorious river-side club, Watergate. Curly has refined his own signature sound, instilled with self-assurance and a puncheon for quality.

Hector Couto (Hot Creations/20/20 Vision/Get Physical/Moon Harbour/Defected)

Highly respected house DJ and producer, Hector Couto, has quickly gained recognition for his unique sound that is described as the perfect blend of Chicago house and old-school techno. His experience playing at some of the world’s biggest dance institutes allows him to replicate his groovy style of DJing, that promises to bring real vibes to any party.

Emanuel Satie (Saved Records/Get Physical/Knee Deep In Sound)

Berlin based producer, with material released on high tier labels such as Saved Records, Get Physical and Knee Deep In Sound, it is clear to see that Satie is nothing short of the real deal.
