Wasted Love

Lush & Simon and Gazzo have partnered up for the inaugural release on new Italian imprint, Nameless Records. An incredible first addition to the Nameless Records repertoire, their track ‘Wasted Love’ is available to purchase now worldwide (excluding US) via all digital retailers, and will be released in the US on April 8th via Casablanca Records.

With ‘Wasted Love’ Lush & Simon and Gazzo have successfully created an incredibly catchy progressive house number that masterfully combines the big room with the small. The result of this collaboration is a pioneering multi-genre sound infusing moving vocals and melancholic piano melodies, whilst combining punchy dance percussion and hard dance synths. Thanks to the instrumental elements and vocalist Robbie Rosen’s emotive topline, the track deftly crosses the genre field between pop and house. Laced over an upbeat dance tempo, ‘Wasted Love’ is sure to deliver both on the dance-floor and at home.

Nameless Records’ ethos is to bridge the gap between the ever-growing Italian dance music scene and the wider world, having introduced EDM to a large audience in Italy thanks to their Nameless Music Festival project. Milan-based duo and Nameless Music Festival regulars Lush & Simon are the epitome of Italy’s fast growing electronic music scene. With a host of tracks since 2013 that have garnered the duo support from dance music superstars Avicii, Martin Garrix, David Guetta and Nicky Romero, to name a few, it’s apparent that Lush & Simon are one of the most exciting acts in today’s scene.

The collaborative partner for ‘Wasted Love’, LA-based producer Gazzo, has been making an equally strong name for himself over the last few years. With an array of highly sought after official remixes under his belt and numerous original club hits that have racked up countless Hype Machine No. 1s and millions of streams, Gazzo is an extremely exciting addition to Nameless Records’ burgeoning roster. Clearly a label to keep both eyes and ears trained on as 2016 hits full swing, Nameless Records have unmistakeably kicked off with a serious bang.
