Wasteland – Maple

Following on from the previous release of ‘Bloom’, Fuze Records welcomes another Australian to the ranks.  WasteLand has had a string of releases on CR2 records including his recent collaboration with Skyden called ‘Inca’.  Last year was a big one for the Perth native, with remixes for Hook ’N’ Sling, TV Rock & Walden, Urban Cone and his heavily supported mix of Thomas Gold’s ‘Remember’.

WasteLand’s debut on Fuze Records marks a productive start to the year for him.  ‘Maple’ begins with a staccato-string opening and quickly builds to an intense groove with brilliantly layered percussion.  The track builds into a fever in the breakdown where the melodic chords have the smoothness of the syrup associated with it’s namesake. ‘Maple’ then grooves through the finish and brings the ride home in style.

Fuze Records is proud to present you another rising talent in WasteLand, and ‘Maple’ is certainly another standard-bearer for the label.  WasteLand – Maple will be available on Beatport on Monday, 16th March with iTunes coming 2 weeks later.
