Since exploding onto the scene, rising star Street Kid has gained a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting, emerging artists. Armed with an impressive arsenal of records such as: ‘Love Stuck’, ‘That Summer’, ‘Luv True’, ‘Can’t Hold Back’ and ‘Feel This Love’, he has released on respected imprints like Casa Nova and Dual Life Records – it’s no wonder he has grabbed the attentions of music heads around the globe.
Up next from the Coventry based DJ and producer is his stunning three-track EP called ‘Watching Women’. Containing the tracks ‘Once Upon a Summer’ – a collaboration with SamaroPhox – and the Watching Women Edit together with the 2016 Radio Edit versions of ‘The Dock of the Bay’, which features Otis Redding, this production has all the necessary ingredients of an underground bomb – a must have for any DJ’s record collection.
The release of ‘Watching Women’ sees Street Kid make his warmly return to Louis Proud’s imprint Proud Sound Records, who have supported and nurtured him since the beginning of his musical journey. With a roster of artists that includes stellar names like A Lister, John Randle, Marc Spence and Fuse & Limbo, it’s clear to see why many view Proud Sound Records as an underground gem. ‘Watching Women’ is out now and its release will project Street Kid to the top of the underground ladder.
