We Are FSTVL announce 2018 first phase lineup

The 5 time award winning dance music show, We Are FSTVL has grown year upon year, proving itself as one of the biggest players on the dance festival circuit since its inception in 2013. With the dawn of 2018 heralding We Are FSTVL’s sixth edition, the UK’s most celebrated dance festival (Best Dance Event at 2016’s UK Festival Awards) continues to grow, combining innovative stage designs and mind-blowing production with a varied mix of genres from across the dance music spectrum.

Bringing together the world’s biggest names in dance music, underground and grime, alongside some of the world’s leading dance music brands and labels, We Are FSTVL 2018 will play host to over 300 acts across 30 arenas between 26th-28th May, with an all-star billing announced as part of the phase one line-up announcement.

With the iconic Terminal 1 stage witnessing heavyweight trio Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, andMarco Carola playing together on the same stage in the UK for the first time ever, preparations are already underway to extend the capacity of the stage in preparation for what will be We Are FSTVL’s biggest main stage of all time.

Representing a strong techno contingent for phase one, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Loco Dice, and Seth Troxler also join the star-studded bill, with drum & bass legendAndy C, Jump Up Superstars SASASAS and DJ EZ representing the bass heads. A strong Grime element will be provided with Mostack, Kojo Funds, Yungen, Yxng Baneand Lethal Bizzle as well as underground talent in the form of Mall Grab and TQD.

Speaking in the run up to his headline slot this year, Andy C says – "We Are FSTVL 2018 will be like a homecoming for me. It’s the area where I grew up, went to school, and still live today. My first ever rave experience at 13 years old was held in a derelict barn about half a mile from the festival site! This is where it all started for me and I can’t wait to perform on a show of this magnitude on my own doorstep.”

We Are FSTVL have flown in directly from the White Isle, Ibiza’s biggest & best arena stage hosts including Circoloco, Defected, Paradise, Glitterbox, Abode, Disturbing, HTYE, joining Bassjam and Lovejuice.

Not content with hosting an expansive world class line-up, We Are FSTVL places a huge emphasis on production to create an unrivaled festival experience. Taking place over a sprawling 142 acre former WW1 airfield in Upminster, Greater London, custom built structures give each arena its own distinctive identity to create a series of parallel worlds. From the ground breaking 450ft long Terminal 1 arena through to the mighty LED walls of The Aerodome, We Are FSTVL 2018 will be expanding on its airport heritage with its brand new “Neon Jetset Overload” theme.

We Are Camping returns to the weekender once more with several of the world’s biggest music brands, including 2 x exclusive full audio ANTS & We Are Bass outdoor arena shows for campsite guests only + an extended, upgraded, remixed for 2018 campsite village, full details coming soon!
