wes mills Hits Euphoria Jackpot With Upbeat, Melodic House Gem “lucky 777” as Debut Release for Insomniac’s Brand-New Label GOTTA MOVE

Commemorating the launch of Insomniac’s latest label endeavor, GOTTA MOVE, US-based producer wes mills steps in to kick off their inevitable hot-streak with his new single “lucky 777,” slated for release on October 31st.

GOTTA MOVE is the newest addition to the ever-expanding Insomniac Music Group family, a platform aimed at highlighting artists and genres that have the motion. Unstoppable rising star power, envelope-pushing pockets of exciting electronic music sounds, and online virality are all but a small part of the equation that will drive the label forward. Enter wes mills. The Californian artist is experiencing an astronomical rise in dance music. His infectious, hook-heavy tracks are soaked through with nostalgia, and his breakout trajectory checks all the boxes for what the label is looking for.

Leading the way with GM001, GOTTA MOVE’s inaugural single, is “lucky 777.” It’s a euphonious, melodic house track that hits the jackpot in terms of leading to a wealth of enriching melody and emotion. Pitched-up vocal chops and darting synth leads keep the pace lofty yet heart-racing, while whimsical flute-like flourishes and tumbling countermelodies swirl above the swift, shuffling drum work.

Offering a glimpse into his creative process, wes mills introduces his new single, saying, “I love sampling vocals and chopping them up. It has become a big factor in the process of how I create the main hooks in my songs. Everything seemed to come easy and fast when I made this track, and it has become a favorite of mine to play out.”

The hype surrounding wes mills at the moment is undeniable. He recently held his first sold-out headline concert at The Echo LA and is now gearing up for his festival appearance at Escape Halloween. These two milestone performances are rounded out by the incessant demand for more sets after recently providing live support for leading talents including its murph, Snakehips, and Disco Lines. His collab “shine” with the latter, Disco Lines, has pulled in more than 4.3 million streams since last year.

“‘ucky 777” captures wes mills’ signature feel-good energy and marks the start of a thrilling new chapter for what lies ahead for both the explosive artist, as well as Insomniac’s newly minted GOTTA MOVE imprint.
