WHAT SO NOT IS COMING TO EUROPE!

Tonight, What So Not (AUS) is be coming to Europe for the very first time as the touring half Chris Emerson gears up for a 13-date tour through October and November starting in France. Best known for Jaguar, Tell Me, w/ RL Grime and many many more, he will be taking on some of the continents most iconic venues, including The Nest in London, Boothaus in Cologne and Showcase in Paris. Tickets available here.

Formed in a bedroom studio, What So Not has always been to act as a creative outlet to explore different sonic landscapes for Harley Streten (FLUME) and Chris (Emoh Instead) from their individual projects. From these modest beginnings just fours ago though, its come to mean so much more – not just to the two of them – but for fans all over the world. Track after track given away on their SoundCloud or released via Sweat It Out, OWSLA or Future Classic has sent the Internet in to frenzy as their exposure grows exponentially by the day.  A wealth of originals and remixes for some of Australia’s hottest acts has seen What So Not become on of the most formidable online presences in the dance space. It’s been a journey and a success story that neither of them expected.

Translating the mass attention online to the live world has been the major marker of achievement for What So Not this year – from home turf, to the States and over to Asia has been a transition that’s come as naturally as you’d expect. Whether it be supporting Skrillex on The Motheship Tour, playing out to EDC Vegas or selling out venues in Jakarta or Hong Kong, audiences all over the world have welcomed Chris’s live show as What So Not with open arms and its only set to get better. This autumn, What So Not looks set to make it a truly global 2014 as Chris takes the project over to France, Hungary, Netherlands, UK, Germany, Spain and Ireland – full details below.
