Plastik Funk - Where We Belong

The Dance Music world is becoming more and more familiar with the German duo Plastik Funk with each of their modern, groovy house productions. Following earlier hits "Tight", "Here We Go" and "Love & Affection" this year, Plastik Funk has nailed it again with their remix of Hugel and Jasmine Thompson's wistful love song "Where We Belong". True to their signature sound, the duo layers in groovy basslines and big room beats over the original track's breezy melody, giving the remix a lively and futuristic vibe that elevates it to the realm of club-friendly music. Jasmine Thompson, the singer behind Robin Schulz's "Ain't Nobody" and "Sun Goes Down", lends her mesmerizing voice to the yearning lyrics of "Where We Belong", which embodies the rapturous emotions of rekindling a romance.

Plastik Funk has had an exciting year thus far, and the best is yet to come; the duo is kicking off their Ibiza residencies this month at the prestigious Privilege, Ocean Beach Club, and Bora Bora. Island revelers will be treated to the duo’s hip-house productions aboard the Ocean Beat Boat and afterward in the clubs throughout the summer – and you know it’s a real party when these guys are on the decks! After receiving support from huge names like Bob Sinclair, Don Diablo and Martin Garrix among others and releasing on renowned labels such as Flamingo Recordings and Armada Deep, they’ve gained serious momentum that will carry them through the summer party scene with ease. Press play on the "Where We Belong" remix and get ready to dance out your lovesickness.
