Cr2 Underground are proud to present the new double A-Side from acclaimed audio-visual artist Velour Modular. 'Who We Are / Say It's All My Fault' is the follow up to the brilliant 'Struck / Turpentine', which found its way up into the acclaimed echelons of the electronic music world by straddling a deep, woozy ambience with soulful hooks.
All four singles have been produced by the highly sought after 50 Weapons affiliate phon.o, who brings his trademark Berlin sound to Velour Modular's disarming vocals. The lyrics are simple and looped, as if vocalist Anabelle Guillerme is trying to conjure something supernatural around phon.o's dense and cinematic textures. Together they have been praised by the likes of XLR8R, Vice, The Guardian, Wonderland, BBC Radio 1 and more, and this latest release sees the pair further deconstruct pop and R&B with even more thrilling results.
'Who We Are / Say It's All My Fault' is available to stream and download on the 14th October.
