Wildlife Festival announces yet more acts!

Today, 8th February, WILD LIFE Festival, the event created by Disclosure and Rudimental in 2015, announces second wave of its 2017 line up including GIGGS, JME, PETE TONG, DAMIAN MARLEY, DAVID RODIGAN, JAMIE JONES, ANNE-MARIE, HANNAH WANTS, TOM MISCH and many more, with final line up to be announced on 23rd February. Acts confirmed today include UK rapper, hip-hop and grime artist Giggs, whose latest album ‘Landlord’ gained him critical acclaim and hit number two in the UK. Reggae and hip-hop artist and producer Damian Marley – the only reggae artist to win two Grammy Awards on the same night – will also join this year’s lineup. UK top 40 singer songwriter Anne-Marie will be returning to the WILD LIFE stage for the second time.

Also announced today is the JME Presents Tropical stage. JME – UK top 10 grime MC and co-founder of Boy Better Know – is joined by Wiley – recently named the ‘Godfather of Grime’ by NME – as well as other exciting acts.
 
Iconic DJ and producer Pete Tong, named ‘global ambassador for electronic music’ by DJ Mag, joins the line up after recently releasing his UK Number 1 album ‘Classic House’ – the biggest selling debut record released in 2016. Legendary DJ David Rodigan MBE, two-time DJ Award-winner Jamie Jones and UK top 40 DJ Hannah Wants all join the line up today. Performing on the Sounds of the Near Future stage on Saturday is Tom Misch, South London DJ and ‘one of the UK’s most exciting new producers’ according to Mixmag.

Headlining the WILD LIFE stage will be the Grammy Award-winning Jess Glynne and Brighton’s own Fatboy Slim with a Saturday main stage headliner still to be announced. Also featured on the WILD LIFE line up are legendary ten time Grammy Award-winning Chaka Khan, two time BRITs Award nominated Zara Larsson and legendary drum and bass DJ, producer and co-founder of RAM Records Andy C. Up and coming electronic music producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mura Masa will also be performing at the festival. 
 
Also announced today is the line-up for elrow’s highly-anticipated Sambodromo De Brasil, a Brazilian jungle themed party with stilt-walking samba dancers, endless confetti and Amazonian party people bearing gifts like cassava snacks and other Brazillian delicacies. As well as Jamie Jones, acts to play the elrow stage include American DJ duo The Martinez Brothers, Jackmaster, the Scottish DJ and co-founder of label and club night Numbers, Solardo – dubbed a ‘meteorically rising UK techno duo’ by Data Transmission. Renowned Dutch DJ and producer Joris Voorn, described by Resident Advisor as ‘one of the most relevant techno producers of this time' will also be joining the line up.

Further announcements to follow include secret DJ sets by special guests and Kopperberg Urban Forest stage line ups.
 
WILD LIFE Festival 2017 (crowned Best New Festival 2015 – UK Festival Awards) will take place at Shoreham’s Brighton City Airport for its third year, bringing festival-goers an extensive mix of music from emerging talent on the Sounds of the Near stage to the massive and legendary artists headlining the WILD LIFE stage.
