WILL SPARKS ‘BLURRED LINES’ Remix

Since his debut release just 18 months ago, Australian powerhouse Will Sparks has been relentless in his rise up the DJ hierarchy. With a Beatport Electro-House #1 already under his belt and recent electrifying appearances at some of Australia’s most notable super-festivals – Stereosonic, Future Music, SummerDayze and Goodlife to name but a few – the Melbourne-born prodigy has now been charged with perhaps his most prestigious job to date; to officially remix Robin Thicke’s worldwide summer smash, ‘Blurred Lines.’

Following on from Laidback Luke’s first bass-heavy edit, Will now takes an entirely different route on the way to remixing what has undoubtedly become one of the tracks of the year so far. Starting out by staying true to the original’s roots, Sparks lays those unmistakable lyrics over some syncopated claps that echo the Pharell Williams production, before leading us towards a drop that is bound to get fans around the world all blurred and bouncing.

With a mere one minute and 15 seconds of the track heard so far however, it’s anybody’s guess what Will Sparks has left in his locker. We’ll just have to wait and see what it is when the full version is released on Interscope Records very soon!

About Will Sparks

Will Sparks is a 20-year old DJ producer from Melbourne, Australia, whose star is rising high on the horizon. His prodigious production has driven him to work with a long list of world-class international artists. His remix of ‘Hello’ by Stafford Brothers, Lil Wayne & Christina Milian reached #1 on the electro-house Beatport charts earlier this year and his own single ‘Ah Yeah’ recently hit  #3 on the Top 10 Beatport charts – an impressive achievement for such a young artist.

Productions such as ‘Chemical Energy’, ‘Phoenix’ and ‘Okay’ as well as his remixes of ‘Long Night’ and ‘Dope Shit’ have all made it into the Top 20 electro-house Beatport charts and his most recent release, ‘The Viking’, is another example of how in-demand he is set to be, with the pre-release alone receiving 40k plays in less than 24 hours.

Despite the stellar success Will’s produced to date, he has only just begun. Big things are yet to come, so prep for landing as Will Sparks touches down across Europe this Autumn.
