Dan McKie finishes off his year of winter a residency in Andorra, Summer residencies in Ibiza, Barcelona & London with his last single of and last of the year, “Woman With The Red Lips”.
This track started life in his studio at the back of a club in Wimbledon, London. The original is a journey through deep tech house, so much so he made a club edit for his own DJ sets. After playing it out all winter he signed it to his own imprint 1980 Recordings. As such he entailed on a mission to get the best remixes he could from his 1980 Recordings roster of talent and he didn’t disappoint.
On the remix we have label regular and 1980 Recordings Russian friend, Anton Stellz who drops his lovely tech house re-groove. 1980 newcomer Lex Loofah drops a beautifully filthy tech house version, rEVOLUCION brings a to the table a nice simple tech house plodder. Last but definitely not least Ibiza amigo Trevor O’Neil gives us his interpretation, which is a lovely deep tech monster.
