Overjoy - Women

"Women" is the trio at their peak. The single is as mesmerizing as it is evocative, with syncopated vocal delivery adding texture to the atmospheric production. "Women" is an exercise in mood and balance, with the crunchy percussion ending with a hollow ringing out, and the pre-chorus vocals bringing the same chop-and-fade as synths balloon over the melody.  Overjoy's songstress Alexis Moraites keeps the track together as the production explores moments of grandiosity and ambling quiet” – EARMILK

Fresh off of elite fashion designer Elie Saab’s handpicking of their song ‘Another’ for his 2018 haute couture winter show at Paris Fashion Week, Los Angeles based psychedelic-pop trio Overjoy has returned with their hypnotic & anthemic new single “Women.” Nearly a year in the making, Overjoy’s songstress Alexis Moraites bares her soul over the visceral & organic rollercoaster of a track that sees the trio reaching new heights in production and songwriting. Initially premiering the song live at Goldenvoice’s end of summer festival Splash House [Video], Overjoy has pushed the release forward due to an overwhelming response.
