Helsinki based Yotto (aka Otto Yliperttula) burst onto the scene earlier this year with a remarkable debut release on Anjunadeep, which picked up DJ support from Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Kidnap Kid, and along with his recent remix of Above & Beyond, gave us a taste of his vibrant dancefloor sound.
He returns with the ‘Wondering EP’, three deep and diverse electronic anthems. Title track ‘Wondering’ is packed with uplifting pads and guitar licks, which flow into a gorgeous vocal breakdown provided by CAPS, before the epic low end melody takes over.
The swirling melodies of ‘Slowly’ soar alongside evocative vocals and a lush sun-soaked bassline. A memorable moment from our Anjunadeep Miami party earlier this year!
Rounding things off is ‘Coming Back To You’, which takes us into daytime disco territory. Warm pads and funk infused guitar blend fluidly over a killer groove, topped off with heady samples and an adventurous keyboard solo.
