Mike Hawkins is one of the new kids on the Danish block, leaving impressions for the last couple of years with releases on labels like Spinnin' Records, Size, Ultra, Fly Eye and DOORN Records. This included several collabs with artists like Jay Hardway, Mightyfools, Jetfire and Marcus Schössow, now continued with a brand new track where he teams up with Italian DJ/producer 7 Skies, known for his work on imprints Anjunabeats and Dim Mak.
So, kind of a dream collab here, and actually the first one on Spinnin' Premium. And it's quite a hot tune, described as ' a thriller of a track', as dramatic synth chords do the job alongside hard hitting stabs and a tension building bassline. 'World On Fire' does what it promises, setting dancefloors ablaze -and it's available as a free download for the next two weeks!
Spinnin' Premium
Spinnin' Premium was launched in October 2015 as a new sublabel of Spinnin' Records, solely focusing on 100% free downloadable tracks. This is based on a (free) subscription; after signing up on the Spinnin' Premium website, every release can be downloaded for two weeks. Things were kicked off by Firebeatz & Apster with their single 'Ghost Child', the second Premium release was the clubby deep house track 'On The Flow' by Redondo, followed by Julian Jordan & Stino with the fierce electro tune 'Feel The Power'.
