XOYO Birmingham’s Easter Weekend Filled with Four Eclectic Club Events

Carrying on an impressive run of form well into 2024, Digbeth nightlife hotspot XOYO Birmingham prepares for a bumper Easter weekend spanning four individually alluring clubbing experiences. Boasting a little something for everyone’s musical tastes, the region’s avid clubgoers can expect a choice of day and nighttime events covering everything from Minimal, Garage, Electro, Techno and House, to Rap, R&B and Hip-Hop as the venue welcomes a wave of national radio stars, international selectors, culture-defining legends and emerging local talent across the weekend of 29th-31st March. For tickets for Easter’s shows and more information, including other upcoming events, visit https://xoyobirmingham.co.uk.

Kicking things off on Friday, March 29th in the Main Room, XOYO gets the Easter weekend party vibes going with BBC Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Day Day as he celebrates his 30th Birthday in the venue’s main room alongside a stellar lineup of guests, including DJ Mexy, Double Impact, Shaq Five, Lamar G, Denny Hus, and DJ Haks, as well as Funky House legend Donae’O performing a live PA. Expect a blend of nostalgic sounds of the 00s clubbing and modern urban bangers. Tickets and more info available here.

Friday is the gift that keeps on giving for clubbers, as over in the A/V arena, local underground promoters Serious Selectas link up with Norway’s Det Gode Selskab for the return leg of their collab party series. Featuring a mixture of names from both brands, including Karl Fraunhofer, Ronya, Lee Hasty, Jake Jordan and DMD, who will be spinning an eclectic blend of off-grid Minimal, House, Garage, Electro, Techno and everything in between. Tickets and more info available here.

The weekend concludes on Saturday, March 30th, with an immersive 12-hour dose of golden age House music kicking off at 2 pm as House of Legends takes over the entirety of the Lower Trinity Street complex with an extravagantly reminiscent four-arena special. Boasting a lineup featuring some of dance music’s longest-serving advocators, including The Prodigy’s Leeroy Thornhill, renowned House veterans Brandon Block and Alex P, early rave pioneers 2 Bad Mice, Kisstory hosts Justin Wilkes and Andi Durrant, the iconic Cleveland City Records and many more. Tickets and more info available here.

And if that wasn’t enough, Easter Sunday will be a sacred party of all things UK rap, hip-hop and R’n’B when local legend, DJ Russke takes control of the soundsystem in The Factory arena. He’ll go back-to-back with fellow Brum and multi-genre DJ Shaq Five, and bringing even more energy and groove-led beats is DJ Mexy, Double Impact and Connor G. Tickets and more info available here.

Since its grand debut in mid-September 2023, XOYO Birmingham has consistently immersed Digbeth, Birmingham, the West Midlands, and beyond in unforgettable clubbing experiences, all set to the pulsating beats of electronic dance music’s elite. Despite its relatively brief existence, XOYO Birmingham has swiftly proven its mettle, inheriting the illustrious legacy of its London counterpart and establishing itself as a leader and innovator in Birmingham’s burgeoning nightlife scene. Incorporating five standalone venues, including a rooftop oasis offering unparalleled views, and a capacity to accommodate up to 3,000 music enthusiasts there’s no better club to deliver all the music Birmingham needs over this Easter weekend.
