XOYO Launches Huge Friday Night Programme For September 2024

As the UK summer draws to an inevitable end, the capital’s bass music stronghold, XOYO, keeps things moving with the announcement of four unique Fridays this September. From 6th – 27th September, XOYO welcomes venue takeovers from DJ Q, Team UKG, Jungle Cakes, and more TBA, each serving up an eclectic curation of Bassline, Grime, 2-Step, UKG, Drum & Bass and Jungle for partygoers across the city. Following an impressive August programme, which saw a residency covering 25 Years Deep of Zed Bias, Fridays at XOYO kicks off on September 6th with the bassline maestro, DJ Q, hosted by Onyx Stone. Known for his signature sound, DJ Q seamlessly blends grime and other genres into his high-energy mixes. Tom Shorterz also brings his unique blend of house and garage, while Megan Wroe and Jaikea complete the lineup with their captivating, crowd-moving beats.

On September 13th, Team UKG touches down, promising a night of classic UK Garage beats and cutting-edge sounds. This star-studded event features the legendary DJ Luck & MC Neat alongside a special jungle set from Nicky Blackmarket and MC Fearless, as well as appearances from Hatcha, Charlotte Devaney, MCs Hyperactive, Ultra and more. It’s a celebration of UKG that will transport you back to the golden era while pushing the boundaries of the genre.

On September 20th’s lineup is still to be revealed, rest assured that it will maintain the momentum of excellence that XOYO has undoubtedly set for the month.

Closing out September with a bang on the 27th, XOYO is thrilled to welcome back Jungle Cakes for their first event since their residency earlier in the year. The incomparable General Levy headlines the bill, joined by a full Jungle Cakes lineup, including Ed Solo, Deekline, Ray Keith, and more. This night promises to be a feast of Drum and Bass, Jungle, pure musical adrenaline, savage MCs and wheel-ups galore.

A testament to its lasting allure, XOYO has a storied history filled with unforgettable clubbing moments and continues to be a cherished pillar of London’s nightlife. Famous for its legendary Friday night residencies, the venue has hosted top international artists such as Interplanetary Criminal, Goldie, Alix Perez, and Andy C. Set in a cosy environment with a distinct underground vibe, XOYO is committed to delivering inclusive, safe, and authentic experiences, both in London and Birmingham.
