XOYO London Residency Series Continues With Renowned UK Bass And Garage Trio TQD

UK Bass and Garage just keeps getting bigger and TQD – comprised of Royal-T, DJ Q and Flava D –  remain firmly at the forefront of this sound. No surprise then that TQD is the latest act invited to host and curate a four-week residency at one of London’s best-known and respected late-night venues, XOYO. Delivering plenty of bounce by the ounce for four Fridays throughout September (1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd), TQD is joined by an arsenal of renowned DJs and MCs, including Oppidan, Jamie Duggan, Bklava, Creed, Dread MC, Ghoulish and many more. TQD is next in a long line of celebrated acts to captivate with residencies at XOYO London, including DJ Randall, Andy C, Interplanetary Criminal, Break, Mike Skinner, Aliz Perez, Goldie, and many more. Tickets and further info are available at: https://www.xoyo.co.uk/clubnights.

Some call them a ‘supergroup’ but the concept of TQD is simpler and much less contrived than that tag implies. Simply put, TQD is a trio of music-making friends united under a single name to make jacking dancefloor music inspired by classic UK garage and bassline sounds. Since their first collaborative foray with ‘Day & Night’, released on Butterz in 2015, TQD has undoubtedly proven that their three-way formula works. Appearing in clubs and at festivals the world over, they’ve been consistently shaking up scenarios with their high-octane blends of (predominantly) their own music across 4-deck sets.

“Our residency is a four week celebration of friendship, our new album ‘there 4 u’, and nearly a decade of working together through different collaborations and remixes that eventually led to us forming TQD in 2015. Our guests are recent collaborators, talent we respect from the bass and garage scene and artists who know how to throw down a good party set for Friday nights in London. We look forward to being in the dance with you in September!”TQD (Royal-T, DJ Q, Flava D)

Answering the call for more diversified club programming in London, XOYO and TQD aim to hit the mark throughout September with an entourage of names set to elevate the presence of UKG and bassline in the capital.

This residency continues XOYO’s drive to build a community that can safely come together to embrace all corners of London’s club culture, united by the music to deliver a deeply authentic and unrivalled dancefloor experience, week in week out.
