The English south Coast is a current hot bed for quality upfront dance music. Johnny Sacree is an emerging talent who encapsulates a forward thinking house sound that has worldwide appeal. His new release on iDent Recordings draws inspiration from his peers; think Sasha, Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Pryda and more recently Hot Since 82 & Cristoph.
The XPO EP is a journey into melodic tech heaven. From the off, title track ‘XPO' with a heavy kick, warm pads and lush synth lines open into and epic, atmospheric trip. ‘Algorithms’ goes deep. Dancing synths, shuffly percussion, fazed fx all beautifully build with haunting vocals to create another voyage in sound. Finally but my no means least 'Space Between’ delivers on all counts. Crisp percussion, hooky lead line all lead into warm, uplifting, melodic monster deep tech gem of a track.
Three outstanding tracks of euphonic, progressive house with an aural brilliance that will indelibly stamp Johnny Sacree’s name in the house. Major league DJ support already from Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Hector Couto, Joris Voorn, Sander Van Doorn + many more
