Y do I Team Up with Anyma on Explosive New Collaboration “The End Of Genesys”

Trailblazing electronic duo Y do I and world-renowned melodic techno heavyweight Anyma finally lift the lid on one of the most anticipated releases of the year so far: “The End Of Genesys” is out now on all major streaming platforms.

Built on a foundation of atmospheric tension, hypnotic rhythms and emotionally driven production, “The End Of Genesys” is a truly transcendent sonic journey. Melding Anyma’s immersive, cinematic approach with Y do I’s unmistakable fusion of trance, progressive, and psychedelic techno, the track unfolds with exquisite patience, culminating in a powerful crescendo that speaks to the dawn of a new chapter for Y do I.

This landmark collaboration unites two unique creative visions for a deep, emotive journey that fuses cinematic storytelling with cutting-edge sound design. First debuted in the trailer for Anyma’s pioneering The End of Genesys residency at SPHERE in Las Vegas, the track signals a new creative high point for Y do I, whose rise from the underground to the global stage has made them one of the most talked-about breakout acts in recent memory.

“The End of Genesys” encapsulates the very essence of both artists’ strengths. Y do I – comprised of Israeli producers Amos Chalfon and David Semo – inject their distinctive blend of trance, minimal, progressive, and psychedelic techno into a soundscape shaped by Anyma’s emotive melodic arcs and cinematic tension. The result is a track that feels simultaneously intimate and vast, cerebral and visceral.

“We approached this collaboration with a sense of deep respect for what Anyma has built with his End of Genesys project,” say Y do I. “It’s a real honor to contribute to his journey, while also continuing to evolve our own sonic identity.”

Y do I’s contribution to this release comes at a pivotal moment in their career. After a standout 2024 – marked by a breakout EP on Afterlife with Kevin de Vries and a stunning debut at Hï Ibiza for Tale of Us’ Afterlife residency – the duo have carried their momentum into 2025 with a renewed sense of vision and fearlessness in their studio work. Known for their ability to distill a wide range of influences into a cohesive, forward-thinking sound, their tracks have been championed globally by tastemakers such as Tale of Us, Indira Paganotto, Kevin de Vries and Anyma, placing the duo at the forefront of a new generation of melodic innovators.

“The End Of Genesys” is not just a collaboration – it’s a groundbreaking synthesis of styles and a bold declaration of what’s next in electronic music. Emotive and avant-garde, the track is a powerful reminder of how music can transcend boundaries, tell stories and create meaning across genres and generations.
