YAANO and MADI Invoke Classic Trance and House on Electrifying Vocal-Driven Single “USED2” on NIGHTMODE

YAANO and MADI break new ground with “USED2,” out April 4 on NIGHTMODE. Based out of the Channel Islands, YAANO has built a reputation for shape-shifting sound design, seamlessly blending lush atmospheres with raw, abrasive textures. Across the Atlantic, Los Angeles-based vocalist and producer MADI has become a sought-after force in alternative and hyperpop, leaving an indelible mark on electronic music. Together, they craft a breakup anthem that defies convention, fusing their distinct styles into a haunting yet electrifying listening experience. 

“USED2” thrives on contrast: MADI’s melancholic vocals drift through a warped house groove, heavy with the weight of lost love. Off-kilter synths and skittering drum patterns weave through deep, brooding basslines, balancing luminous melodies against jagged, experimental production. A squelchy, unpredictable build keeps listeners on edge before plunging them into the track’s hypnotic, otherworldly soundscape. 

The single leads YAANO’s forthcoming EP on NIGHTMODE, marking a bold evolution in his artistry. Drawing inspiration from classic house and trance, he reshapes these influences through a contemporary lens, offering a fresh take on underground electronic music. His genre-warping approach has fueled standout collaborations with IMANU, Saka, Kasra, Klinical, and Skylark, earning radio support from NGHTMRE, Alison Wonderland, Rohaan, Posij, and Kanine. 

MADI has built a formidable career in electronic music, her signature vocals and emotive lyricism cutting through collaborations with Excision, Dabin, Hekler, Apashe, Manila Killa, Slushii, and more. Spanning bass, melodic, and experimental sounds, her voice delivers raw intensity, making her a go-to across genres. Beyond collaborations, her solo work blends atmospheric melodies with introspective storytelling, moving fluidly between delicate soundscapes and hard-hitting production. 

YAANO is riding a wave of momentum, wrapping up his debut tour across New Zealand and Australia before headlining his first show in Finland this April. In May, he joins IMANU’s ‘DE VERTE’ tour in Breda, further cementing his presence on the global stage. With “USED2,” he sharpens his sound into something darker, deeper, and more unpredictable, setting the stage for his most ambitious work yet.
