Cosmic Gate - YEAH!

Frontend of summer and Cosmic Gate have been having a mainline time of it, up rocking fests (EDC Vegas, SAMF, Ultra Europe & Afterhills among ‘em), whilst smashing clubs in all four corners in between. None of that however has prevented our dynamic duo from finding the time to get studio-side and create a hot-season-stamping number for summer ‘18.

When you see the sun, watch the win, feel the Fahrenheit or hear that Nic & Bossi are back with their first new material since the ‘Materias’, what else is there to say but… ’YEAH!’

Strap in – things could get emotional here. Steeped in evocative reverb, bathed in redolently trickling sub-melody and awash with infectious bleeps and harmonic shafts, ‘YEAH!’s intro sets a big precedent. Shimmering seaside ambiance, flanked by hazily echoing FX and cold filtered perc loops follow, all pointing your mind in but one direction.

Piling atmosphere on atmosphere, each step of its way, the track’s brilliantly structured, extended ride of a drops finally unleashes. Bold brassy stabs, super-low frequency bass, horns, sirens and tech tenacity all land with unstoppable floor force. One impossibly big whoop for the season, ‘YEAH!’ is on the streets from today.
