Mar-T - You See Me EP

April 13th 2018 sees Ibiza Icon and Wow! Recordings’ label boss Mar-T deliver his debut You See MeEP for Steve Lawler’s revered VIVa LIMITED imprint.

This essential offering follows the previous success of Mar-T’s recent releases on label such as Elrow, iVAV Recordings, Twisted Fusion, Form plus his very own WOW! Recordings and sees him deliver one of his best release to date, a 4-track EP comprising of 2 original tracks and 2 stunning remixes.

The EP’s title-track ‘You See Me’ kicks things off, providing a funk-fuelled Tech House workout encompassing a pumping dancefloor-ready groove, high-octane percussion elements and an array of detuned vocal samples which are manipulated throughout.

Next, sees fellow Spanish DJ/producer Alvaro AM step up to deliver a stellar rework of the aforementioned track, opting to utilise only a few of the Original’s key elements and add his own stamp by incorporating; an abundance of twisted percussion elements, a selection of old-Skool rave stabs and an array of warped sound effects.

The EP’s second Original track ‘Broken Heart’ follows on and sees Mar-T serve up more a deep melodic House number on this occasion. The track features a solid four-to-the-floor groove, intriguing rhythmical synthetic elements, atmospheric textures and a fine selection of vocal samples.   

Concluding the release, sees UK-based DJ/producer and Hot Creations favourite Mark Jenkyns put his own stamp on the aforementioned track. Serving up a mouth-watering dancefloor ready re-rub that encompasses driving TR909-laden drum track, a deep throbbing bassline and a variety of eerie sound effects.

You See Me EP is available exclusively via Beatport on April 13th and everywhere else two weeks later.
