Yulo X Releases His Highly-Anticipated Debut Album “EUPHORIA ENDS”

Berlin-based electronic artist Yulo X has unveiled his nine-track debut album, “EUPHORIA ENDS” via Vienna’s Superego Records. This highly anticipated project blends his wave and dream pop roots with cutting-edge electronic production, offering a diverse sonic experience. Praised by DJ Mag Germany, “EUPHORIA ENDS” spans a broad spectrum of electronic styles, from the driving house beats of “ECHOES OF ALOJERA” to the experimental ambient techno of “APEX.” Buy/stream the album via: https://hypeddit.com/yulox/euphoriaends.

The album mixes ambient, indie electronica, leftfield house, bass music, and techno, with Yulo X contributing vocals and lyrics to tracks like “AMOR” and “WAVES.” Conceptually, it explores euphoria, addiction, and decay themes, enhanced by the warm, punchy low-end from London-based producer Tian Karl’s mixing and Sam Irl’s mastering. Released on Vienna’s experimental label Superego Records, this album marks the next chapter for Felix Neumann, the name behind Yulo X, who has already made waves in the scene with past projects and a regular DJ show, YX Sessions, on Data Transmission Radio.

Yulo X, the latest project from Berlin-based producer Felix Neumann, weaves an eclectic blend of electronica with influences spanning melodic, ambient, house, techno, garage, and dubstep.

Yulo X’s music captures the lush, melodic textures reminiscent of Max Cooper, fused with the energetic vibrancy of Caribou and the enigmatic grooves of Floating Points while stripping down to a raw, minimalist core of pure emotion. Inspired by the dynamic music scenes of Berlin and London, Neumann’s forthcoming debut album incorporates catchy piano passages and orchestral elements, reflecting a refined evolution in his production and songwriting. His vocal presence on several tracks refers to his earlier dream pop project, a hundred times beloved, which gained attention in the early 2000s. Neumann’s work draws deeply from 80s new wave and 90s dream pop, which shaped his sound both then and now, as they are reimagined in his modern electronic compositions. Additionally, Neumann’s former house project, Fex Fellini, achieved club chart success in the 2010s, further cementing his reputation with international DJs.

With the release of “EUPHORIA ENDS,” Yulo X further cements his name as one of electronic music’s most versatile and creative adepts. He fearlessly champions boundless stylistic depth and pushes the boundaries of modern art.
