Zamna brought together more than 25.000 electronic music lovers in Tulum

Zamna Tulum has consolidated itself as a true place of pilgrimage in which electronic music lovers from all around the world meet up to start the year. Its schedule is its maximum attraction and its idyllic natural environment, its jungles and its beaches, its main charm.

The numbers prove it. Its last edition included 5 daytime parties in Mia, the club located on the beach, 5 night time parties in Zamna Tulum’s cenote and 25.000 attendees from 5 continents and 73 different nationalities.

Some of the highlights of what has been the most successful edition of Zamna Festival so far are:

Afterlife, the biggest night of the festival in The Riviera Maya with more than 9.000 attendees.

The Renaissance brand arrived to Tulum to stay with an excellent first edition. 17 artists including  Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg, who made their debut in Tulum, Dubfire and Nicole Moudaber, 2 stages and 1 mindblowing  production in the south of Mexico.

Paul Kalkbrenner started 2020 with an outstanding performance alongside Iñigo Vontier, Agents Of Time and Øostil.

Black Coffee’s second performance in a row makes him a big part of  Tulum’s season. Blond:ish, DJ Angelo and the French Salomé completed the special event’s line-up.

Live performances such as Bob Moses and WhoMadeWho brought  a very attractive analogue touch to the festival.

-The duo ARTBAT performed for the first time in Mexico and they did so with a sold out event on the 1st of January on the idyllic beaches of Tulum.

-The support given  to Tulum’s community grows in importance with each new edition. This year,  actions such as the reconstruction of the palapa for the school Escuela Primaria Gregorio Perez Cauich took place, the donation of toys on the day of The Three Kings to every child registered on rodandoconcausa.org (an association that supports underprivileged children and families from remote regions of Quintana Roo),, and the celebration of a 100% Plastic-Free festival with the use of PLA resin glasses, BUI bottles of water, reusable soda cans and eco-plastic cashless bracelets.

And that’s not all because Zamna Festival has important news for 2020. On one hand, besides its traditional annual edition, the festival will also be holding a beneficial edition in April. A very special event that will reunite great artists, music and gastronomy throughout different venues in Tulum. And on the other hand, the celebration of a monthly event  in Mia with the aim to bring electronic music culture closer to Tulum’s beach.
