Booka Shade reveal the second instalment of their ‘Booka Shade Reworked’ package to mark their 20th Anniversary, with Blaufield Music signee 8Kays returning to remix their iconic track ‘In White Rooms’.
A project celebrating both a significant milestone that very few instrumental artists ever get to experience while still performing worldwide with a sold-out tour diary, but also one set to showcase, spotlight and highlight the up-and-
coming names to know from the next generation, Booka Shade’s stacked and loaded ‘Reworked’ package is a project that sees the world-renowned duo celebrate the past while looking towards the future.
Inviting a host of exciting and emerging talent to remix signature records from their illustrious career, the second instalment in the series sees the Blaufield Music bosses welcome back Ukraine’s 8Kays to the label.
Building on their already established history and friendship, with 8Kays’ track ‘Rainbow’ proving to be one of the label’s biggest tracks of 2019 to 2020, her remix of their renowned single ‘In White Rooms’ is now finally released, having featured as a highlight of her sets across the globe during the past nine months. Bringing that iconic melody into the heart of a warping and twisting ride, 8Kays delivers metallic kicks, distorting synths and surging builds for a driving and dynamic take built for maximum dancefloor impact.
