Tungevaag is here to ‘Make You Happy’
Always on the move, Norwegian hit producer Tungevaag captures the momentum with a huge new single. ‘Make You Happy’ sees him present one of the most upbeat records of the year, delivering feelgood chords along with the comforting vocals of Richard Smitt, sure to get the audience out of its isolation sentiments for a moment. Prepare to get your happy vibes going, as this record comes out on Spinnin’ Records.
Known from his past hits “All For Love” and “Samsara”, the musical multiped Tungevaag returned on solo duty last year with hit single ‘Knockout’. Making quite some waves among the dance audience since then, the record has already reached the milestone of 10 million streams on Spotify alone – making this an exciting step back to solo duty for the Norwegian musician.
While also teaming up with other artists, resulting in massive hit tunes ‘PLAY’ (together with Alan Walker and K-391) and ‘DANCE’ (alongside CLMD), he returned with solo releases earlier this year: the massively supported ‘Peru’, played by DJ’s like Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Timmy Trumpet, and the recent party anthem ‘Stay’, together with Finnish DJ/producer The Second Level.
Following up on this, Tungevaag now brings ‘Make You Happy’, a powerful pop record that builds on his trademark dance rhythms while adding a compelling hands-in-the-air chorus. Not in the least, the track’s vocals are in a shining role here, seeing the Norwegain artist re-unite with Richard Smitt, who also delivered the vocals for one of Tungevaag & Raaban’s biggest hits ‘All For Love’, back in 2018.
And yes, the message is strong and clear. These guys are destined to ‘Make You Happy’ with a heart warming record, using music to spread good vibes and provide everyone with a spark of positivity, wherever you are. Times are rough, but Tungevaag will continue to lift those spirits.
“I feel that ‘Make you Happy’ is what we all need now and I am really proud of this track which I did over an online studio session with my friends back in March. It also includes a personal music video, which features shots of some of my trips around the world” – Tungevaag
