Fast-rising Californian duo Eurostep debut on Lapsus Music imprint with ‘Drippin’.
Los Angeles-based production pairing Eurostep has made a firm arrival on the global Tech House stage in a brief time. Already signed to Repopulate Mars, NONSTOP, La Pera, CUFF and now Supernova’s Lapsus Music imprint, the duo is fast becoming an act to keep a firm eye on. Their latest release ‘Drippin’ features two cutting-edge tech cuts, accompanied by a remix from the esteemed label bosses.
The release kicks off with ‘Drippin’, riding a punchy core of firm kicks and gritty hat grooves. A rhythmic sub-bassline pushes the track forwards through a sea of reverberated hip-hop vocal licks, atmospheric transitions and quirky fills, delivering a catchy underground dancefloor jam.
Supernova are next up with a pleasantly subterranean remix of the title cut. Riding a rolling groove from the outset, the mix is flooded with spacious FX and glitchy twists that orbit a continuous flurry of potent beats, rhythmic breaks, subtle melodies and rumbling low-frequency drive from start to finish.
‘Private Dancer’ rounds off the release with more thickened analogue frequencies and groove-laden vibes. Its body of bass-heavy elements and crisp percussive flair is accompanied by another instantly hooking vocal arrangement and wobbly harmonics, encompassing a delightfully stripped-back yet vigorous vibe-builder from the off.
Eurostep’s ‘Drippin‘ EP (incl. Supernova Remix) is out now on Lapsus Music.
