Central to the realisation of this Project has been an all-star line-up of contributing Artists, including legendary Bass Player Chuck Rainey (Michael Jackson, Steely Dan) & two members of Beyonce’s touring Band, Divinity Roxx & Kat Rodriguez.
Chuck Rainey is reputed to be the most recorded Bass Player of all time. As the Session Bassist of Atlantic Records, he worked with some of the World’s greatest Artists, including Aretha Franklin and Quincy Jones. His contribution to the Project was to add his unparalleled experience and musicianship in the genres of Soul and Funk.
Kat Rodriguez (Saxophone) and Divinity Roxx (Bass) brought a contemporary edge to proceedings with their expertise in modern R ‘N’ B and Hip Hop. In addition to touring extensively with Beyoncé, the pair have also worked with such luminaries as Jay Z, Angie Stone and Erykah Badu.
The Album was recorded at DeLorean Suite’s Project Studio in Limerick, while live Drums were tracked at GoldHill Studios Wales by UK Producer Branwen aka Somatik (Madonna, 4 Hero).
With their Debut Album now completed, DeLorean Suite look forward to touring throughout 2013.
