Love Eli Shares New EP ‘Lucky You’

Electronic artist, producer and vocalist Love Eli has just dropped his new three-track EP, Lucky You — a dark, energetic and atmospheric release that finds emotion at the centre of expansive electronic production.

Out now, the EP brings together the title track alongside “Lockjawed” and “Heart Attack”, moving between massive synths, immersive sound design and more intimate moments. Together, the three tracks offer a concise introduction to Love Eli’s increasingly distinctive sonic world.

At the heart of the release is “Lucky You”, a synth-driven track born from experimentation with different tunings and chord progressions. Rather than starting with a fixed concept, Love Eli allowed the track to develop organically, following the feeling of the music as it emerged.

“Lucky You is a statement piece. I wanted to capture what I was feeling and put it entirely into a song without saying a word.”

That instinctive approach runs throughout the EP. Entirely self-produced, Love Eli writes, records and produces his own material, bringing songwriting, production and sound design together as one process. The result is music that feels both carefully constructed and emotionally immediate.

There’s a clear affinity with the darker, atmospheric side of contemporary electronic music, with echoes of artists such as Aloboi, Klsr and Pluko, but Lucky You ultimately feels like a statement of Love Eli’s own direction: ethereal textures, heavy electronic tones and songwriting that lets the emotion sit front and centre.
