Purple Disco Machine - Dished (Male Stripper)

Legendary dance imprint, Positiva Records, today releases a brand new edit of THE crossover club smash of this summer, ‘Dished (Male Stripper)’, by Germany’s disco house master Purple Disco Machine.

The essential new edit follows the huge recent success of the Original Mix (released in May via Australian tastemaker label Club Sweat) that’s been blowing up dancefloors around the world, storming the Shazam chart and garnering huge specialist radio support.

To date the record has received major support across BBC Radio 1 with support coming from Danny Howard, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Mistajam, Maya Jama, Phil Taggart and Monki, reached #1 on the station’s highly coveted dance chart in June and top 3 on the Radio 1 Specialist Chart.

In addition, BBC Radio 1’s Adele Roberts has selected the record to be her ‘Tune of the Week’ on her early breakfast show and Annie Mac has invited the talented German to perform back to back with Monki at Radio 1’s Ibiza Weekend on Sunday 5th August.

Over the years, the revered Dresden-born DJ/producer has worked hard to become the world’s most in demand disco house artist by releasing a plethora of well-received EPs/singles, remixing A-list artists such as Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, Two Door Cinema Club, New Order, Claptone, Chromeo, Tom Odell, Faithless, Shapeshifters, Hercules & Love Affair and Sigma Feat. Paloma Faith and performing at the world’s best clubs and events.  

Last year saw the disco house master release his debut LP, Soulmatic, which to date has racked up over 30 million combined streams and over 200,000 radio plays and he’s currently working on his sophomore LP to capitalize on the success.
