DJ Fresh vs Diplo – Earthquake

DJ Fresh has unveiled the first pictures from the set of his massive new single ‘Earthquake’. The track features on the upcoming Kick Ass 2 soundtrack and will be released in the UK on August 11.

He’s sold nearly 2 million records worldwide and had 2 UK No.1 singles. Now DJ Fresh returns on blistering form with his brand new single, ‘Earthquake’ – a collaboration with critically-acclaimed producer and Mad Decent label supremo Diplo and hot new talent, Florida-based rapper Dominique Young Unique.
 
The instantly-infectious ‘Earthquake’ was premiered as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record in the World and will feature on the soundtrack to this Summer’s sure-fire movie hit, ‘Kickass 2’. The genre-defying track looks set to destroy dancefloors and festivals alike when DJ Fresh hits the road for a Summer packed with DJ gigs and live shows, including headlining the In New Music We Trust stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend this weekend and appearances at Wireless, Global Gathering and V Festival and more to be announced.
 
DJ and producer Daniel Stein, a.k.a. DJ Fresh, is one of the UK’s most respected and influential electronic music producers. Dan began his musical mission at the tender age of 19 when he fronted renowned drum and bass group ‘Bad Company’, whom NME dubbed ‘the Wu-Tang of drum and bass’.  Since then he has carved out a successful career as a producer, labelboss (founding Breakbeat Kaos with fellow drum ‘n’ bass luminary Adam F) and artist in his own right, recently scoring two number ones with ‘Louder’ and ‘Hot Right Now (ft Rita Ora)’, which were the UK’s first ever dubstep and drum ‘n’ bass number ones, respectively. Recently signed in America to Columbia Records, home of other successful British exports Adele, One Direction and Calvin Harris, DJ Fresh looks set to go global in 2013.
