Hamburg based melodic techno artist Iman Hanzo releases his stunning debut album, ‘Clouds’, out on 16th August via Armada Music.

Iman Hanzo is not only an outstanding DJ, but a talented producer who enriches the electronic music scene with his innovative melodic techno productions. Originally hailing from the vibrant club scene of Hamburg, Iman Hanzo has celebrated successes on global stages.

His unique blend of deep house and house blends seamlessly into his DJ sets and also finds its way into his productions. As a producer, Iman Hanzo has created a plethora of tracks that captivate audiences with their powerful energy and deep emotionality.

Worldwide supports from renowned names in the scene such as Solomun, Black Coffee, BLOND:ISH, LP Giobbi and Sofi Tukker underline this impressively once again.

Iman Hanzo’s productions combine the raw intensity of deep house with the sophistication of an experienced producer. Every beat and sound is carefully chosen to move and inspire the audience.

For Iman Hanzo, his artistic journey goes beyond DJing. Inspired by his childlike curiosity to explore and unravel the mysteries of the world, he embarked on a transformative journey that has now culminated in his groundbreaking debut album, ‘Clouds’.

Iman Hanzo: “Some people write about their adventures, others paint them, and I tell these stories through my melodies. This is where my journey begins with my first album called ‘Clouds’. Each song on it tells a unique story, yet they are all connected. In the end, this album comes together as one big atlas where each tune represents a chapter of my experiences.”

Instead of releasing the album all at once, he decided to release it gradually at the beginning of this spring in the form of selected singles, each representing a chapter in his creative development and at the same time gradually completing the album as a whole with previously unreleased songs.

“As a child, I always wondered what it would be like to be on a cloud. This image was only known from cartoons, but my curiosity wouldn’t let me go.”

He was particularly fascinated by the idea of where these clouds come from, which cities, countries, continents and oceans they have crossed and where their journey takes them.  With every step of his travels, Iman gathered countless impressions and experiences, which he now recounts in his melodies.

This is where his journey begins with his first album called ‘Clouds’, he explains. Each song tells its own story, and yet they are all connected. The album contains a mixture of deep house, Afro House, Indie Dance, Dance and Melodic House.

The track ‘Bang Bang’, for example, which has already been supported by Solomun, inspires you to dream of simply doing things differently. A truly driving song with captivating melodies, electrifying beats and intense rhythms. ‘Clouds’ – the title track of the album – in turn invites you to let yourself drift, to trigger a spirit of optimism and lightness – according to Iman Hanzo. In ‘Circle’, Iman Hanzo – together with ‘Quiet&Listen’ – has created a song that resembles a journey through nature as well as into one’s own self, encourages reflection and makes you understand connections. ‘Canto Da Gente’ – together with the talented Brazilian singer Letícia Aranha – is particularly close to Iman Hanzo’s heart, because this track is 100% wanderlust-inducing. The song is a tribute to the roots and resilience of Brazilian culture.

Iman Hanzo’s completed work comprises a total of 11 tracks and promises a personal journey around the world that is both thought-provoking and uplifting. ‘Clouds’ by Iman Hanzo is available to stream and download everywhere from 16th August.
