Brooklyn’s Joeski brings his unique house attitude to a big new single on Moon Harbour.
Maya Records boss Joeski has been a forepart of the global underground since the 80s. He has a wealth of knowledge and a unique take on the genre which has kept him right at the forefront. He last appeared on Moon Harbour back in 2020 with ‘Hook Me Up,’ a red-hot collaboration with Spain’s Miguel Lobo.
‘Pasteles’ is a stylish, stripped-back house cut that soon has you locked into its humid, shuffling groove. It is peppered with tumbling toms, rolling drums and wooden hits that have a steamy tribal feel, and when some flute lines arrive a tropical vibe takes you deep into the jungle. Add in a sure to become anthemic Spanish vocal and you have a slice of sunny, organic house music at its finest.
Joeski has us all dreaming of those warm open-air dances with this one.
