Josh Baker channels raw rave emotion on new single Souvenir
Josh Baker’s hot streak shows no signs of slowing, as he returns with brand new single ‘Souvenir’ featuring rhys from the sticks, released via Bakers Dozen / Three Six Zero.
‘Souvenir’ lands following what was arguably the biggest week of Baker’s career to date, having revealed his first-ever B3B with friends and fellow house heavyweights Prospa and KETTAMA, bringing together three artists who have helped define a new generation of British electronic music. Teased with a cinematic Guy Ritchie-esque trailer, the trio are seen suited and booted in a snooker hall, complete with pints, pool cues and smoky back-room energy ahead of their first B3B on British soil, having only been seen before at Miami Music Week, Coachella and EDC Las Vegas. Josh also closed his sold-out YOU&ME residency at Amnesia Ibiza last night with two sets – playing both sunset and sunrise – with the sets filmed for a special BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. The finale featured Enzo Siragusa B2B Silva Bumpa, Max Dean, Marsolo, Moxie, Reeshy and more, bringing to a close a residency that has become one of Ibiza’s defining parties of the summer.
Across release weekend, Baker also becomes the first artist ever to take over Manchester’s Warehouse Project for two consecutive sold-out nights. The opening night sold out in just five minutes, Josh will play two sets each day including a headline B2B with Prospa. Other artists on the bill include Enzo Siragusa, Franky Rizardo, Seth Troxler, Chloe Caillet, Shanti Celeste, Luuk Van Dijk, Julian Fijma, L.P. Rhythm and many more.
Having spent more than six months teasing the record in clubs and festival stages, ‘Souvenir’ quickly became one of the defining IDs in Baker’s summer catalogue, having opened his landmark performances at both Reading & Leeds (which were broadcast live on the BBC) and Creamfields in August with the record, which transports the listener deep into the rave.

For the first time, Baker joins forces with rhys from the sticks, AKA Rhys Kirkby-Cox, formerly one half of UK duo Everyone You Know, whose unmistakable voice brings a raw, distinctly British edge to the record. Together, the pair lean into a sound rooted in UK dance culture, punk, post-punk and Madchester influences, signalling an evolution in Baker’s songwriting while staying firmly connected to the dancefloor.
Built around Josh’s shimmering house production and rhys’s unforgettable vocal hook, ‘Souvenir’ captures the feeling of memories that refuse to fade. The lyrics “burn marks on my hoodie, from your cigarette” and “red lights and white lies you’re telling me” paint vivid snapshots of a relationship long gone, before the emotional refrain “burn marks on my hoodie in case I forget, I’m just a souvenir” leads as the track’s defining moment. It’s a collaboration that feels equally at home in a warehouse as it does soundtracking the end of summer.
The release follows Baker’s recent standalone single ‘My Place’ featuring Poppy Baskcomb, which has spent 10 weeks and counting in the UK Singles Charts, and arrives in the wake of his four-track club EP ‘Breaking Point’ and breakout Ibiza residency.
The success of YOU&ME has cemented Baker as one of dance music’s standout breakthrough artists. The Amnesia residency delivered multiple sell-outs, expanded into a second room for all but one week of the season and welcomed Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Luciano, KETTAMA, SAOIRSE, Eliza Rose, Interplanetary Criminal, Moxie, Peach and dozens more across the summer. The residency’s impact was recognised at the Ibiza Artist Awards, where Baker was named International DJ of the Year and Best Breakthrough Artist, while YOU&ME at Amnesia received Best Revelation Party.
Looking ahead, Baker’s schedule shows no signs of slowing down. Before the end of the year he’ll headline Amsterdam’s legendary Gashouder during ADE, play FLY Halloween at Glasgow’s 8,000 capacity SEC Arena, and embark on a seven-date North American headline tour visiting Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Chicago, Toronto and Las Vegas for the closing show of his 2026 LIV residency.
After a summer that included Coachella, Parklife Main Stage, Reading & Leeds, Creamfields Main Stage and a headline show at Belsonic Belfast, ‘Souvenir’ arrives as the clearest statement yet of Josh Baker’s next chapter, expanding beyond club records into a broader musical world while remaining unmistakably rooted in British dance culture.
