Julien Earle is back on his record label Reflection with a brand-new peak-time techno release in the style he has released on other imprints including the likes of UMEK’s 1605 and Spektre’s Respekt.
Based in America, Julien Earle is also known for being a YouTube content creator who makes videos that share production tips and tricks with aspiring music creators. Showcasing his talents in the studio, Julien Earle’s style is mainly orientated around techno, but he takes influence from other electronic music genres.
Not only has he dropped solo productions on labels ranging from Pleasurekraft’s Kraftek to Ramon Tapia’s Say What?, he has also collaborated with others such as The YellowHeads and Beico.
This release features two versions of “Close Your Eyes” that have both been produced by the original artist, Julien Earle.
The ‘Extended Mix’ of Close Your Eyes opens the release with a fast and furious groove that consists of electrifying synths and thundering percussion. Its pulsating energy and flickering acid combine with stabbing melodies and a throbbing bassline to deliver a rollercoaster ride of enthralling energy. There is also a more compact version that at three minutes long, is perfect for radio plays.
