Spain’s César Martínez, part of KD’s 57th dynasty ‘Triki Fonk’, lines up with Kaiserdisco for a call-out to the club utilising one of dance music’s Ten Commandments. The deep and skippy ‘Get Up’ is rutted by grunts of grime bass that stamp a grimace across the funk flushing out all dancefloor passengers. Pride of Prato Ruben Mandolini, a visitor to the exclusive shores of Toolroom, Snatch! and Defected, rumbles up a remix of hefty techno set up for a long and dark night ahead. The Italian bustles out of the booth and barely comes up for air, crackling with electricity as ‘Get Up’ squares up to the soundsystem.
