Italian duo The Deepshakerz make their debut on DFTD with two tracks of deep reaching melodic tech house. The pair have been known to blend various musical styles from vocal to Afro-beat, 90s tech to Chicago house, but keep things understated, techy and dancefloor-focussed on this EP.
Less is more on ‘Keep Pushing’, a track that ticks lots of boxes without trying too hard. The deeply reverberating bass will fill any discerning club room up nicely, while minimal vocal stabs create a hook for the track to build on. ‘Shake Me’ has a touch more of a jacking house style, the vocal urging you to “shake your body” while the melodic bass is equally as insistent. It would be rude not to with this EP.
