DJ and Producer Trst is back with a stomping remix of the 2002 classic hit, Khia’s ‘My Neck, My Back’. He has transformed the track musically into one that branches across a multitude of genres, all working together in harmony to blow the roof off of any venue it gets played in.
Dark synths dance behind the verses whilst a swarming-like effect prepares you for when the beat drops. Once again, the production kicks it up a pace by offering a Dubstep inspired drop with gritty synths and melodic chord progressions, enough to make any audience go wild. As Trst’s remix progresses, more and more elements seep through such as the impressive complex drum patterns and consistent inclusion of Khia’s iconic vocals.
Trst has been making some major moves in the industry after having several releases with Spinnin’ Records and DJ’ing across America. Some of his Spinnin’ releases include ‘Throw Yo Body’and ‘Bitch Boyz’, inspired by the likes of Tony Romera, Noizu, & Rex The Dog, Trst is on a mission to bring back Fidget House and by the way he’s releasing music at the minute, he might just do it.
Trst’s remix of ‘My Neck, My Back’ is out on the 3rdMay as a free download.
