Lil Lumie is the latest female artist to innovate and find new ways to explore a genre and bend in between others. This is exactly what she has done with her first EP ‘Magic’, packed full of imagination and guile and sublime mixtures of pop and R&B.
Lead single ‘Magic’ personifies her offering as an artist, with swooning keys, emotive chord progressions on top of a soft trap beat. It’s an unlikely combination of instrumentation but it works in such a seamless and effortless way for Lumie.
