Lucas & Steve team up with RetroVision for the decadent hit ‘Summer Love’

Charmed by a seasonal romance, hit duo Lucas & Steve team up with French tastemaker RetroVision for a future festival favorite in the making— “Summer Love.” Revolving around Erich Lennig’s mesmerizing vocals, the record swirls into a powerful drop, action-packed with knockout house beats, scintillating synths, and gorgeous melodies, all signature elements of Lucas & Steve and RetroVision’s infamous sonic styles. Critically acclaimed Spinnin’ powerhouse duo Lucas & Steve has built a solid reputation throughout the years with its iconic festival sets, nonstop hit productions, and global charting success. 

Their discography is endless, as are the credentials, including 2020 debut album Letters To Remember, and recent collabs with Tiësto (for last year’s smash “Oohla Oohla”), Galantis (“Alien”) and Afrojack & DubVision (“Anywhere With You”). 

Earlier this year, the ever upbeat duo joined forces with up-and-coming French artist RetroVision to release the radiant DJ weapon “Summer.mp3.” Already known for his widely popular remix of Lucas & Steve hit “Say Something,” RetroVision’s raw, headstrong future house sound perfectly complemented the original’s pop vibe. It’s a routine the Frenchman is famed for, established through a series of solo hits and popular remixes for various greats out there, also including Krewella and Jonas Blue. 

“Summer.mp3” saw both acts take their energy to full strength, unleashing steaming hot beats along with Lucas & Steve’s trademark feelgood melodies. While the instrumental already worked wonders at live shows, the guys have now revamped the song with a fresh production and Erich Lennig’s powerful vocals – turning it into a whole new gem by itself.

“Summer Love” is the dreamed culmination of this collab, a record that seems fit for the energy craving festival crowds as well as highlighting charts and playlists. Erich Lennig delivers a stellar performance with his spirited vocals, nicely accompanied by warm guitar chords.
