MarMar & dg. – ‘take me somewhere’

American/French producer MarMar and UK producer dg. have teamed up for an intoxicating new single called “take me somewhere”, which is all about hope, escapism, and being with someone special.

This song hits close to home for MarMar as he reflects on his own story of moving to France for love, and the overall theme of taking a leap of faith for someone makes it all feel quite real.

The collaboration with dg. brings an interesting mix of sounds as they blend MarMar’s future-house style with dg.’s chilled house influences, resulting a track that’s both chill and emotionally rich.

MarMar reveals; “take me somewhere is a song about running away with the person you love. I think it really captured the idea of freedom for both Danny and me. We wanted to make something fun during the winter season, with the reminder of hope for sunny days. This song was a blast to make with him and feels like a breath of fresh air creatively.”

dg. adds; “Mario (MarMar) sent me the original idea and it was fantastic! The idea to create a catchy song that captures both a dance and melancholic feel was the plan for this track. We aimed to create a song about finding joy in the moments that feel encapsulating.”
