About a year ago, during a creative rough patch, they decided to venture into the world of dance music—a genre that was completely new to them. With no expectations, they released their tracks to see what would happen, and their bold leap of faith has paid off in remarkable ways.
Since launching their social media profiles at the end of October 2023, me n ü has quickly built a dedicated fanbase, amassing over 37,000 followers on TikTok and 62,000 on Instagram. The duo has coined the term “hope house” to describe their distinctive style, which blends uplifting and emotive elements with infectious dance beats.
Their debut single, “JUMP”, has made significant waves in the music scene, earning airplay on Sirius XM Chill and debuting on Beta BPM New Music with Liquid Todd. The track has inspired over 100,000 creations on Instagram Reels and received extensive editorial support on major streaming platforms. “JUMP” is featured on Spotify’s “Created by Women” and “Fresh Finds Dance”, Apple Music’s “Chill House” and “Breaking Dance”, as well as Pandora’s “Pandora Chill” and more.
“JUMP is a chill house track that sums up the style of our self-coined genre, ‘hope house'”, the duo explained. “We couldn’t find the perfect track that sounded like sunsets and hope, so we decided to make our own”.
