NATURE ONE 2026: RAVE.NOW.TOGETHER – 350 DJs, 20 Floors & the Craziest Campsite in the World
THE FESTIVAL
From July 30 to August 2, 2026, NATURE ONE returns to the legendary Pydna Missile Base in Kastellaun for another chapter in its remarkable festival history. Around 60,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s edition. More than 350 of the world’s leading DJs and live acts will perform across 20 stages, representing the full spectrum of electronic music. Highlights include Fatboy Slim, Paul Kalkbrenner, Sven Väth, Lilly Palmer and Fantasm. The complete line-up is available at nature-one.de. As tradition dictates, the festival officially kicks off on Thursday evening with the Opening Celebration at the CampingVillage, where around 100 privately hosted camp stages transform the campsite into the most extraordinary camping experience in the world.
HISTORY & SIGNIFICANCE
NATURE ONE is one of Europe’s longest-running and largest electronic music festivals. In 2025, the festival celebrated its 30th anniversary under the motto “Celebrating30Years” and was subsequently voted “Best Event of the Year” in the annual FAZE Mag Readers’ Poll. The story began in August 1995 at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, where Germany’s first major open-air rave welcomed 13,000 techno pioneers. Instead of celebrating in clubs or large indoor venues, they danced beneath the open sky. In 1996, NATURE ONE moved to the former Pydna Missile Base, which has remained its home ever since. By 1997, the event had evolved into Germany’s first true weekend rave festival featuring camping. Since then, it has grown continuously, reaching an all-time attendance record of 72,000 visitors during “The Golden 20” anniversary edition in 2014.
THE FLOORS
On Friday evening, the festival grounds officially open. Whether outdoors, inside massive festival tents, or on top of and inside former missile bunkers, the festival’s 20 floors showcase every style of electronic music imaginable: Techno, House, Classics, Hardstyle, Hard Techno, Rawstyle, Trance and Drum & Bass. Alongside the four main stages—including the iconic OpenAirFloor and the Century Circus housed in a giant ten- mast tent—the renowned Club Floors deliver an authentic underground atmosphere. Hosted by promoters, labels and club operators from Germany and across Europe, these stages feature not only internationally acclaimed artists but also resident DJs and rising newcomers.

Airport Würzburg has been an institution within Germany’s techno scene for more than four decades and has been part of NATURE ONE since 1998. This year’s line-up includes OGUZ, Sandra Romina and Tommy Libera.

Paul Kalkbrenner – One of the world’s most celebrated electronic music artists, renowned for his unique live techno performances that combine melodic depth with driving rhythms.
Fatboy Slim – Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, is a true dance music legend. With timeless classics like The Rockafeller Skank and Praise You, he continues to ignite festival crowds worldwide.
Sven Väth – Widely regarded as one of techno’s founding figures, Sven Väth represents techno as a cultural movement. His carefully crafted sets are immersive journeys through sound.
Lilly Palmer – Born in Germany and shaped by Zurich’s underground scene, Lilly Palmer has become one of the most sought-after peak-time techno artists on the global circuit.
Fantasm – Since 2023, one of the defining names in global hard techno, boasting millions of streams, headline performances worldwide and a place in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2025.
Neelix – A long-time favourite on the OpenAirFloor and known for surprise performances at the CampingVillage. Wherever he plays, the progressive trance artist creates unforgettable moments.
Holy Priest – Masked, mysterious and unstoppable. His hard techno performances combine relentless energy, driving rhythms and moments of unexpected humour.
I Hate Models – Master of dark euphoria, blending hard techno, electro, post-punk and EBM into deeply emotional performances balancing melancholy and ecstasy.
Alle Farben – More than two decades in the scene, over two billion streams and fifteen Top 10 hits—including five No. 1 singles. “NATURE ONE is definitely one of my annual festival highlights!”
Schrotthagen – Germany’s cinematic techno duo Giovanni Berg and Dieter Schleip craft emotional musical narratives that are intense, atmospheric and unforgettable.

THE CAMPINGVILLAGE
Four days and three nights of camping, parties and electronic music beneath the open sky.
Most visitors stay in the 100-hectare CampingVillage—an area equivalent to approximately 150 football pitches.
Within just a few hours, an entire temporary world emerges. Up to 100 Camp Floors, built by festival-goers themselves, feature sound systems run by hobby DJs and their communities.
Foam cannons, inflatable pools, sofas, beer pong setups and everything needed for an unforgettable weekend become part of the landscape.
People celebrate with lifelong friends or complete strangers alike. The atmosphere is unmistakably peaceful, open and welcoming—a true sense of togetherness without boundaries.
