About Nicola Mannini:

Nicola Mannini is an Italian-born DJ based in London, whose journey began at age 15, inspired by ’70s and ’80s music. Starting out alongside a local DJ, he quickly gained recognition, leading to solo gigs at fashion events and upscale venues, and building a strong connection to club culture.

He has since curated events and shared stages with notable artists. In 2023, he released his debut track “Up All Night” on White Lips, and in 2024 co-founded the DJ collective Spicy Juliet, where he helps manage events and lineups. Blending Soul, Funk, Disco, and ’90s House with deeper sounds, Nicola is known for his vinyl-only sets across respected London venues and continues to expand his career, including plans to launch a radio station.

About Angela Johnson:

Angela Johnson is a multi-talented soul and acid jazz artist from Utica, New York, who began her musical journey early, studying piano at four and violin at nine. While attending SUNY Purchase, she co-founded the band Cooly’s Hot Box with Christian Urich, releasing music through major labels. She launched her solo career with They Don’t Know (2002), gaining recognition with the hit “Ordinary Things.”

Her music has been widely featured across major TV shows and films, boosting her profile. Johnson continued her success with multiple albums, earning awards and critical acclaim. Beyond her solo work, she has written for numerous artists and collaborated with major names like Joey Negro & The Sunburst Band, Micky More, Ghostface Killah, solidifying her reputation as a respected and versatile figure in contemporary soul music.
