Nightlapse & Hayley May link up on new single ‘Sweet Love’

Liverpool duo Nightlapse have joined forces with Yorkshire-born singer-songwriter Hayley May on their new single, ‘Sweet Love’.

Channelling old-school rave energy, ‘Sweet Love’ is a feel-good house cut that expertly pairs infectious piano chords with Hayley’s soaring diva vocals. It marks Nightlapse’s first single release since ‘Reaction’, their smash collab with Jodie Knight that has since been remixed by KC Lights. The duo also remixed ‘Underwater’ by Anabel Englund and MK earlier this year.

Nightlapse released a slew of singles across 2020, including their biggest success to date with their unstoppable remix of Anabel Englund’s ‘So Hot’, a collaborative rework alongside MK, which has so far racked up over 11 million streams. Further remix highlights include MK and Becky Hill’s platinum-selling ‘Back & Forth’ and MK and Sonny Fodera’s ‘One Night’ featuring the lush vocals of Raphaella, currently at 2.3 million streams on Spotify. They followed up with two original singles, ‘Changed Minds’ (featuring the legendary vocal stylings of Roland Clarke) and ‘Freak Out’ featuring Liska.

Previously working with the likes of Lee Foss, John Summit and Joel Corry, London-via-Yorkshire singer-songwriter Hayley May has built a reputation around her accomplished songcraft and distinctive vocals, bringing a soulful and rich texture to her delivery which instantly strikes a chord.

Equally destined for dancefloors and festivals alike, new single ‘Sweet Love’ is set to add to Nightlapse’s remarkable success, with the duo continuing their hot streak with another killer club shaker.
